Yasaka YS30 5.8" 30 Tooth Texturiser hand made in Japan following traditional methods .Yasaka hand made scissors are manufactured with ATS314 Hitachi Metals Steel ATS314 is a special material that the element was created especially for hairdressing scissors.
Cobalt etc. are added to improve the hardness And extend the period of sharpness and smooth effort free cutting.

The resulting steel has a equally low impurities content and has excellent wear resistance, and is a fully rust proof stainless steel.

Yasaka were introduced to the West by the visionary, Geri Cusenza, founder of Sebastian International, over 30 years ago. Hundreds of thousands of Yasaka shears were sold, and they became the standard for function and affordability.  Each scissor is a combination of Japanese forging techniques, modern machining methods, and traditional hand-craftsmanship. The result is a design that continues unchanged to this day, with many of those original scissors  still in use and beloved by their owners.
