Yasaka hand made scissors are manufactured with ATS314 Hitachi Metals Steel ATS314 is a special material that the element was created especially for hairdressing scissors. Cobalt is added to improve the hardness And extend the period of sharpness and smooth effort free cutting. The resulting steel has a equally low impurities content and has excellent wear resistance, and is fully rust.
All classic levelset and offset scissor handles are replacable allowing purchase of backup / substitute blades Yasaka were introduced to the West by the visionary, Geri Cusenza, founder of Sebastian International, over 30 years ago.
Hundreds of thousands of Yasaka shears were sold, and they became the standard for function and affordability.
