The moment your hand grips a Mizutani Swivel thumb shear you will know it is in a class above all others. The unmatched quality of the bearing system and the truly ergonomic design of the swivel make these scissors superior to any other swivel available.

Scissors with rotating finger holes that prevent tendonitis. They smoothly follow the movement of your thumb, to keep hand damage to a minimum.

Single Swivel

The ideally placed thumb ring is amazingly smooth and can be entered from either side. Choice of three ring sizes assures perfect without/with minimal need for additional ring sizes. If you are a swivel user, or are experiencing hand problems, you must try this.

These are medically good scissors developed with an ergonomic design aimed at preventing wrist/carpal tunnel issues. We have reconsidered the location of the thumb-which is shorter than the other fingers-to make these scissors easier on the hands, locating the finger holes in the most natural place. Furthermore, to reduce strain on the gand, we have used a carbon resin bearing and titanium-plated wave washer. Whether you are troubled by wrist/carpal tunnel issues or whether you have never had any concerns about your hands, it is important for long-term use to choose a tool that will reduce the burden on your hand.
